Carriage House

A historic carriage house designed by Charles Platt, this structure was intricately restored under the direction of architect Stephen Sullivan. To house a new sculpture, it had to be completely reimagined structurally without leaving a visible mark. It also required significant attention to lighting to create a subtle ambiance within the space while also making the artwork come alive. This was achieved by designing discreet custom bronze fixtures alongside the back of the columns while also integrating nearly invisible strip lighting throughout the interior architectural details.
