The Garage is a response to a simple client request — renovate our existing typical garage to make it a special place for creating beautiful memories. The result is a careful balance of preserving the existing structure while repurposing the materials extracted from it. The discreet integration of ambient lighting using backlit canvas panels and carved wood purlins earned it an AIA Honor Award.
